Our products can be transported OR delivered by road and or shipped by sea. About 80% of our pellet sales are export deliveries. We work with many transport companies in Ukraine and abroad. These transport companies help us to deliver our supplies on time.

Fruitdale Pellets LLC produces wood pellets which are compressed biofuel generally produced from sawdust. We manufacture wood pellets which are a modern form of heating fuel and have more potential to reduce CO2 emissions. Wood pellets are cylindrical in shape and with a measurement of between 6-8mm in diameter and 10-30mm long. The moisture content of wood pellets is less than 10% which allows them to be burned with very high combustion efficiencies.

Biomass wood shaving is milled into fine sawdust and then fed into a pelletizing machine (granulator) where it is compressed under immense pressure and extruded through a die. This process is accompanied by lignin melting, contained in the biomass, which serves as a binding material forming the pellets as they dry. The glaze observed on the exterior of the pellets is also the result of lignin melting. The process of forming pellets is called extrusion. When pelleting sawdust raises its temperature to 90 degrees Celsius. There are no used additives when producing wood pellets. The manufacturing process is based on a process used in Ukraine but it is believed that the method of manufacture used elsewhere is similar. Wood pellets are produced totally from sawdust and wood shavings and do not contain any additives or binders. The sawdust and shavings are dried and then milled into particles of up to approximately 2 mm particle size. The compression leads to an increase in temperature.

The entry of “wood pulp pellets” while referring to oxygen depletion and the generation of carbon dioxide does not refer to the formation of carbon monoxide. Bulk wood pellets are prone to off-gassing and self-heating, which can be mitigated by procurement.

All raw materials are only 100% softwood such as pine wood, fir wood, birch wood, beech wood, oak wood, and spruce wood. The acceptance of raw material acceptance and storage:

The product is performed on the plant territory.

The raw material acceptance site is made of concrete slabs.

Railway feeder comes to the site which can be used for raw material delivery. Access routes for trucks are also available.

Raw material storage site consists of a storage area and area of raw material immediate supply to processing.

Transport unloading is executed by a wood loader on the base of the excavator LIEBHERR A 924 В.

Unloading runs into storage areas or directly to the working area of wood supply to processing.

Timber quality and quantity acceptance is carried out on-site along with radiological control.
